Basketball is offered only in the Winter through Newtown Recreation. Our Winter season is for boys and girls ages 7-11 years. We use several of the local schools to hold practices and games. As players progress through our different age groups, they are provided with many opportunities to develop and fine-tune their ball handling skills, court movement as well as learn offensive and defensive strategy. Age groups are based on the child's age as of September 1st of the current school year.
