Welcome Tennis Academy of the South (TAS)!!
TAS is now the EXCLUSIVE Tennis Provider at Newtown Park. TAS will be offering both youth and adult programs through Newtown Recreation. 

Tennis Academy of the South's History:
Gery Groslimond founded the TAS 20 years ago and has grown it into one of the largest and most successful tennis academies in the Atlanta area.  TAS has achieved success thorough its guiding philosophy, expert staffing and quality programming and services. 

Tennis Academy of the South's Philosophy:
The Academy's goal is to develop each individual to their full potential in the game of tennis as well as life.  TAS works on 2 parallel tracks.  One is to provide a year round training environment for youth and adults of all ages and abilities.  Second is to develop life skills such as work ethic , team work, goal setting and sportsmanship.  They provide a fun atmosphere for kids and parents alike to learn tennis, "the game of a lifetime".

Private/Semi-Private or Group Lessons at Newtown Park

Cost: Privates $55/hour, Semi-Private $58/hour and Groups $60/hour.

Tennis Teams at Newtown Park

ALTA and Team coaching is also available upon request.  Please contact Shannan Gaudette at (404) 502-2302.  Court fees are required to reserve practice courts unless the team utilizes team coaching through Newtown Recreation, then only the team coaching fee applies.  Cost: $65/hour.

Racquet Stringing
Newtown Recreation and TAS will also provides a racket stringing service for all registered participants.
